The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Seinäjoki today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Whirlwind was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Shadow Heart sprinted to the front.




Ludde Bunter looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that French Lover couldn't come out from behind the leader, Shadow Heart.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Shadow Heart today. It continued in the lead. District Attorney galloped for 50 m.



Shadow Heart looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Whoopsadaisy never caught up with Shadow Heart who won. Modest Princess came third.
