Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Sørlandet track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Jolly Tropic was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and So What sprinted to the front.

The leader got disturbed by something and No Limits took the lead rather easily.

The leader got disturbed by something and Paint It Black took the lead rather easily.

No Limits showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Øystein Tjomsland tried a little too much on the homestretch and Mindreader started to galopp and lost 40 m.

Limerick Rake won the race after a spectacular finish.
