Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åmål track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ohio Buckeye was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Anders I Jonsson wanted a little to much in the start and Ohio Buckeye galoped for 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Dronning I Alt sprinted to the front.




Tourbillonner sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Tourbillonner followed by Ohio Buckeye and Dronning I Alt. Lane two Desolate Mist followed by Koneènì Navždy and Bastille Day.




Tourbillonner didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.




There was a new leader after 2500m, Ohio Buckeye.



Tourbillonner was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Ohio Buckeye kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Desolate Mist galop. Desolate Mist lost 30 m.




Winner of todays race was Ohio Buckeye. Koneènì Navždy came in second. Tourbillonner became third.
