One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Victoire Victorieux took the lead after a very quick start.

Trophäe Sammler quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Calming Boulder who started to galop and lost 30 m.

Starstruck Feeling took the lead after 1000m. Light Missile didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Work Balance galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Light Missile took the lead after 1000m. Fawltys Strong Solution didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Victoire Victorieux galopped for 40 m on the homestretch. Helmer galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.

Calming Boulder sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
