One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Afrodite.
Tegen Stand ended up behind the leader.
Reed Sing got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Diamond Magic started to galop and lost 40 m.
Afrodite was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Reed Sing was disturbed and galoped 50 m.
High Priority accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.
Afrodite took the lead.
Afrodite kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Erik Adielsson tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Afrodite started to galopp and lost 10 m.
Diamond Magic sprinted over the finishline before
Tegen Stand and
Vont.
