One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Smiling Moment could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Smiling Moment suddenly started to galop. Esa Holopainen had to struggle to get Smiling Moment to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Champ In Space looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Running Pirate couldn't come out from behind the leader, Smiling Moment.

No-one could catch Smiling Moment today who won before Running Pirate and Champ In Space.
