One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Jumping Folder. Frozen Sunray ended up behind the leader. Baloo got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Jumping Folder was in fine shape and held the lead.

Frozen Sunray looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Jumping Folder couldn't come out from behind the leader, Baloo. Angelfish suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m. Calming Steel galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Frozen Sunray was still in the lead after 1500m. Les Le Temps started to gallop after 1500m and Gunnar Eggen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Frozen Sunray looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

No-one could catch Baloo today who won before Frozen Sunray and Jumping Folder.
