One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Grasping Lilac took the lead after a very quick start.




Sweet Mum quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Grasping Lilac showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Chasing Shadows took the lead after 1000m. Sweet Mum didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Chasing Shadows was still in the lead after 1500m.



Chasing Shadows kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Pointing Queen won. Chasing Shadows came in second. Sweet Mum caught third place.
