Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Mikkeli track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were I Promised Myself. Échelon Et Dignité ended up behind the leader. Glorious Feeling got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Antti Teivainen wanted a little to much in the start and Turning Princess galoped for 50 m. Sonnys Celebration galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Hard Cube showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

Listening Mustache saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Listening Mustache who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Welche Gesteine looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Turning Princess couldn't come out from behind the leader, Listening Mustache. Échelon Et Dignité was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

Welche Gesteine accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Turning Princess galloped way to long and was disqualified. Welche Gesteine sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Glorious Feeling made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before I Promised Myself.
