One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Expert Opinion sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Champion Crowe started to galop and lost 30 m. Vejle Silje was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Hurricane Observer, Beaune Therons, Close Arraow, Champion Crowe, Haut Medoc, Vejle Silje, Expert Opinion, Light Cruiser. A bird flew just in front of Climbing Steel who started to galop and lost 30 m.

Hurricane Observer was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Hurricane Observer was still in the lead after 1500m. Vejle Silje started to gallop after 1500m and Ari Moilanen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Close Arraow galloped way to long and was disqualified. Hurricane Observer looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Haut Medoc, 2 General Beard, 3 Brave Tank.
