Only a humble breeze blew over Åby this day. The track where in perfect shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Hot Steam. Just A Game ended up behind the leader. Laissez-faire got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Walking Asteroid was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Bring It On galloped way to long and was disqualified. Tricky Trap was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Powerful Behemoth was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Laissez-faire never caught up with Hot Steam who won. Just A Game came third.
