Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Italian Stallion could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Radiating Lady started to galop and lost 50 m.

Italian Stallion was in fine shape and held the lead.

Pistol Star Cherry took the lead after 1000m. Perfect Fly didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Pistol Star Cherry today. It continued in the lead.

Pistol Star Cherry were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Tasteful Way won the race after a spectacular finish.
