The weather had been good all week and Skellefteå was in good shape.
The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.
Valkyria could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.
This is the positions after 500m. Dead Man´s Hand, Giant, Lone Steel, Journey Of Stars, Valkyria, Big
Crusher, Sneaky
Scout, Antiikkinen Aikoinaan. Trial And Error was disturbed and galoped 50 m.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Dead Man´s Hand followed by Journey Of Stars and Valkyria. Lane two Giant followed by Lone Steel and Antiikkinen Aikoinaan.
With only a little left of the race Trial And Error galoped for 20 m. Dead Man´s Hand looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
Giant won. Journey Of Stars came in second. Dead Man´s Hand caught third place.
