One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Partout.
African Fighter ended up behind the leader.
Lieutenant
Cube got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.
The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.
African Fighter looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Brave
Mountain couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Courir Comme Un Léopard.
African Fighter galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.
Lieutenant
Cube suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one
Brave
Mountain followed by
Gaillarde and
Partout. Lane two
African Fighter followed by
Vergunning Voor and
Astrid´s China Times.
African Fighter was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.
Gaillarde sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Vergunning Voor never caught up with
Gaillarde who won.
Partout came third.
