The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Jolly Tropic found a gap and took the lead. Little Daffodil followed before Princess Mononoke.




Walking Sunshine quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Princess Mononoke looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Whistles couldn't come out from behind the leader, Walking Sunshine.




Princess Mononoke accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Princess Mononoke kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Walking Sunshine was first on the homestretch followed by Princess Mononoke and Passion For Pineapple.






Princess Mononoke sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
