One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Alice In Italy took the lead after a very quick start.
Liberty saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of

Meadow who started to galop and lost 20 m.
Liberty was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop
Liberty today. It continued in the lead.
With only a little left of the race
Beauty Queen galoped for 30 m.
Süss was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.
Liberty kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
