One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Sharp Edge found a gap and took the lead.
Perfect Space followed before
Matthieu. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 20 m. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 40 m.
The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.
Sharp Edge was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one
Sharp Edge followed by
Perfect Space and
Prince Of Sharpness. Lane two
Matthieu followed by
Alhambra Royale and
Tug Of War. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 10 m.
With only a little left of the race
Victor Victory galoped for 40 m.
Sharp Edge kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Matthieu sprinted over the finishline before
Tug Of War and
Sharp Edge.
