The sun was shining on Solvalla today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





En Garde could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




En Garde was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m. A bird flew just in front of Wood Horsetail who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Helpful Rocket looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that A Red Planet couldn't come out from behind the leader, En Garde.



Wood Horsetail was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. With only a little left of the race Wood Horsetail galoped for 20 m. A Red Planet looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that En Garde couldn't come out from behind the leader, My Moneyshaker.






A Red Planet sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
