One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lying Sapphire took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Prima Sunshine looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Wimpy Hollywood couldn't come out from behind the leader, Lying Sapphire.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Lying Sapphire today. It continued in the lead. Wimpy Hollywood started to gallop after 1500m and Brage Hansen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Lying Sapphire looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Prima Sunshine made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Lying Sapphire.
