The sun was shining on Solvalla and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Free My Mind could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Holzdeppe quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Free My Mind looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Avril couldn't come out from behind the leader, Holzdeppe.




Free My Mind looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Avril gallopped for 30 m.



Holzdeppe was first on the homestretch followed by Free My Mind and Belong To You.






Holzdeppe didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
