The weather had been good all week and Romme was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tropical Forest found a gap and took the lead. Taylor followed before Brave Puma. When the startcar left the field Purple Heart started to galop and lost 10 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Tempting Viper sprinted to the front. Tropical Forest showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Brave Puma sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Brave Puma was still in the lead after 1500m.




Brave Puma kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Tempting Viper suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Tempting Viper didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
