The weather had been good all week and Skellefteå was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ouagadougou found a gap and took the lead. Helpful Blast followed before Icarus Rebel.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Gurkburk Superior sprinted to the front. Red Needle started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Tripping Fiber sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Tripping Fiber was still in the lead after 1500m. Nice Content started to gallop after 1500m and Mikael Lindqvist had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Tripping Fiber sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Tripping Fiber looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Gurkburk Superior galoped for 60m and was disqualified. Tripping Fiber was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Dietlinde galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Icarus Rebel won. Helpful Blast came in second. Haters Gonna Hate caught third place.
