One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Beatrice Egli C.C.. Voorbij Paradijs ended up behind the leader. Fluortanten Cherry got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Satanic Panic quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Discendente Il Fiume was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Giggling Wind looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Voorbij Paradijs couldn't come out from behind the leader, Satanic Panic.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Satanic Panic followed by Giggling Wind and Fluortanten Cherry. Lane two Voorbij Paradijs followed by Beatrice Egli C.C. and Light Winter.

Satanic Panic sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Giggling Wind won the race after a spectacular finish.
