One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Herrhagens Butcher could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Arnt-Sverre Røren wanted a little to much in the start and Spiral Belle Cherry galoped for 10 m. This is the positions after 500m. Roberta, Spiral Belle Cherry, Gioiello Signora, Herrhagens Butcher, , , , . Spiral Belle Cherry sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Spiral Belle Cherry followed by Roberta and . Lane two Herrhagens Butcher followed by Gioiello Signora and . Something caused a disturbance in the field and Gioiello Signora gallopped for 20 m. Spiral Belle Cherry was still in the lead after 2000m. Spiral Belle Cherry kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Winner of todays race was Spiral Belle Cherry. Roberta came in second. Herrhagens Butcher became third. Results
