It had been raining for several days at Bergen but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Heavy Sergeant was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Speeding Stone sprinted to the front. Styxon Ciniferalis started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Charlisa looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Heavy Sergeant couldn't come out from behind the leader, Speeding Stone.




Speeding Stone was still in the lead after 1500m.




Speeding Stone didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Speeding Stone kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Heavy Sergeant made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Charlisa.
