One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Jean Baptiste. Nessla Refused ended up behind the leader. Strickly Business got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Nessla Refused saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Jean Baptiste looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Mai Sufficiente couldn't come out from behind the leader, Nessla Refused.




Jean Baptiste looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Strickly Business gallopped for 40 m.




Strickly Business took the lead.



Strickly Business kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Mai Sufficiente won the race after a spectacular finish.
