The sun was shining on Skellefteå today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Northern Pike tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Ghostly Brightness that came steaming ahead.




Devine Starshine quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Ghostly Brightness was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Maiques looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that First Class couldn't come out from behind the leader, Devine Starshine.

Ghostly Brightness was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.




Duke Of York made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Maiques.
