The weather had been good all week and Bergsåker was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Bankroller took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Good Looking Paradigm started to galop and lost 40 m. Exotic Velvet was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Good Looking Paradigm sprinted to the front.

Iolanthe took the lead after 1000m. Margareta Zed didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Dongé galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Margareta Zed accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Iolanthe gallopped for 50 m. Good Looking Paradigm started to gallop after 1500m and Patrick Wickman had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Stifling Girl started to gallop after 1500m and Kenth Åkerlund had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Margareta Zed kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Margareta Zed kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Margareta Zed galop. Margareta Zed lost 40 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Edgy Thought galop. Edgy Thought lost 20 m.

Good Looking Paradigm won the race after a spectacular finish.
