The sun was shining on Romme today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Polkamp could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Amazing Addiction was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




Crossing Crystal quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Universe Lightning started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Famous Sunshine started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Famous Sunshine galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m. Universe Lightning was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Crossing Crystal followed by Bold Mistress and Shred On. Lane two Polkamp followed by Princess Eboli and Amazing Addiction.



Crossing Crystal kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Polkamp made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Crossing Crystal.
