Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kokkola track was in top-condition.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Heaven & Earth found a gap and took the lead.
Silly Rose followed before
Jumping Hero.
Heaven & Earth was in fine shape and held the lead.
Jumping Hero looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Silly Rose couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Heaven & Earth.
Silly Rose was disturbed and galoped 20 m.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop
Heaven & Earth today. It continued in the lead.
Jumping Hero galloped for 60m and was disqualified.
Silly Rose started to gallop after 1500m and Jukka-Pekka Kauhanen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Heaven & Earth kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.
Heaven & Earth were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
Heaven & Earth galoped for 60m and was disqualified.
Silly Rose sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
