One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Loving Folder. Gertrude Germann Zed ended up behind the leader. Lucky Heat got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Gertrude Germann Zed quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Lucky Heat started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Loving Folder looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Calming Boy couldn't come out from behind the leader, Gertrude Germann Zed. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Gertrude Germann Zed today. It continued in the lead. Loving Folder was first on the homestretch followed by Gertrude Germann Zed and Lucky Heat. Lucky Heat sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy. Results
