One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Frozen Boulder was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Tommy Turbulent who started to galop and lost 50 m.

Frozen Boulder was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Frozen Boulder was still in the lead after 1500m.

Frozen Boulder didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Frozen Boulder looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Intelligent Gladiator sprinted over the finishline before Frozen Boulder and Tommy Turbulent.
