The sun was shining on Romme and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Talkie Talkie tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Fast Work that came steaming ahead. Talkie Talkie was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




Kuiper quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Peace On Fire took the lead rather easily.




Fairfax Law accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Fairfax Law looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Fast Work made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Fairfax Law.
