It had been raining for several days at Kuopio but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Moving Energy was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Dafuq Superior quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Red Fox sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Moving Energy saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Strong Star started to gallop after 1500m and Riina Rekilä had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow took the lead.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Polished Work won the race after a spectacular finish.
