One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fanchone found a gap and took the lead. Plage Domines followed before Athirappilly. Fanchone suddenly started to galop. Ulf Eriksson had to struggle to get Fanchone to tror again and succeded after 50 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Fanchone clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.



Fanchone was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. With only a little left of the race Vanuit galoped for 20 m. Athirappilly clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.






Athirappilly didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
