The weather had been good all week and Kalmar was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Climbing Crusher tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Cunning Wolf that came steaming ahead.




Climbing Crusher quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Climbing Crusher was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Cunning Wolf accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Cunning Wolf kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Climbing Crusher speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Cunning Wolf sprinted over the finishline before Climbing Crusher and Eternal Beauty.
