One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Counterfeit Meadow tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Chevallier that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Counterfeit Meadow, Chevallier, Athletic Universe, Albarello, Sad Sergeant, Leroux, , .




The leader got disturbed by something and Sad Sergeant took the lead rather easily.




Sad Sergeant was still in the lead after 1500m. Counterfeit Meadow started to gallop after 1500m and Mika Forss had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Chevallier put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



With only a little left of the race Sad Sergeant galoped for 20 m. Chevallier sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Chevallier kept the speed the whole finish and won before Albarello and Sad Sergeant.
