One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Yzerman Superior sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop Elif today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Plage Domines gallopped for 50 m.
Elif sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Elif didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
