Only a humble breeze blew over Kajaani this day. The track where in perfect shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Uzidoesit Moot. Nessla Xeed ended up behind the leader. Cosmic Fall got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.
Brave Comet saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Charmed Nutcracker sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Charmed Nutcracker was still in the lead after 1500m. Anchor Island galloped for 40 m. Ü started to gallop after 1500m and Juha Utala had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
With only a little left of the race Brave Comet galoped for 50 m. Charmed Nutcracker looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
Calligaris won. Charmed Nutcracker came in second. Nessla Xeed caught third place.
