One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sneaking Velvet tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Born Today that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Tough took the lead after 1000m. Sneaking Velvet didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Tough was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Sneaking Velvet litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
