Start List
It had been raining for several days at Bollnäs but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Sad Whirlwind tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Royal Baptist that came steaming ahead.
This is the positions after 500m. Herrhagens Mariner, Brave Madame, Eleganten, Royal Baptist, Inkas Lion, Sad Whirlwind, Rainbow Amazon, Holy Runaway. Rainbow Amazon started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
Brave Madame sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Brave Madame followed by Eleganten and Inkas Lion. Lane two Sad Whirlwind followed by Royal Baptist and Rainbow Amazon.
Sad Whirlwind was first on the homestretch followed by Eleganten and Brave Madame.
Final standings. 1 Royal Baptist, 2 Inkas Lion, 3 Eleganten.
