One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Puma was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Cosmic Summer started to galop and lost 30 m.
The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. driver couldn't keep
Helaine to trotting so they were disqualified.
Cosmic Summer looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Inkas Kinkiga couldn't come out from behind the leader,

Puma.
Ojsan Hjältinna suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.

Puma was still in the lead after 1500m.

Puma looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
