One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Back In Control found a gap and took the lead. Floating Vixen followed before Jumping Tropic.
Jumping Tropic quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
The leader got disturbed by something and Back In Control took the lead rather easily. Flower Runaway was disturbed and galoped 40 m.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop Back In Control today. It continued in the lead. driver couldn't keep Flower Runaway to trotting so they were disqualified.
Jumping Tropic was first on the homestretch followed by Floating Vixen and Edgy Pixie.
Floating Vixen never caught up with Jumping Tropic who won. Edgy Pixie came third.
