The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Seinäjoki this day.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sophisticated Giggle. Guilty Pleasure ended up behind the leader. Swinging Peach got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Swinging Peach started to galop and lost 30 m.
Gorgeous Fall saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Full Story sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Helle Zeiten galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Full Story followed by Swinging Peach and Guilty Pleasure. Lane two Sophisticated Giggle followed by Little Lemonade and Gorgeous Fall.
With only a little left of the race Guilty Pleasure galoped for 30 m. Sophisticated Giggle suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
Little Lemonade galopped for 50 m on the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sophisticated Giggle galop. Sophisticated Giggle lost 10 m.
Final standings. 1 Swinging Peach, 2 Full Story, 3 Gorgeous Fall.
