One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Wondering Sugar sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and Opal De Landemer sprinted to the front.
Opal De Landemer was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.
Opal De Landemer was still in the lead after 1500m.
Opal De Landemer kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Ferocious Speed galop. Ferocious Speed lost 30 m.
Wondering Sugar never caught up with Opal De Landemer who won. Georgette came third.
