One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Fabrienne could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

This is the positions after 500m. Goofy Pony, Platinum Bandwith, Schwerin Ad Ameste, Arg Ung Man, Close Architecture, Fabrienne, Slippery Angel, Carlos Ivanhoe.

Close Architecture looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Platinum Bandwith couldn't come out from behind the leader, Goofy Pony. Jumping Gal galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Goofy Pony followed by Platinum Bandwith and Fabrienne. Lane two Close Architecture followed by Carlos Ivanhoe and Slippery Angel.

Goofy Pony sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Fabrienne was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.

Platinum Bandwith sprinted over the finishline before Close Architecture and Goofy Pony.
