Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Rättvik track was in top-condition.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Modest News tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Nessla Karelin that came steaming ahead.
Rebel Patriot quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Racing Dust who started to galop and lost 10 m.
Christelle took the lead after 1000m. Ottawa Thunder didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Goretti galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.
With only a little left of the race Goretti galoped for 40 m. Christelle took the lead after 1000m. Woltmans Law didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Nessla Karelin won. Christelle came in second. Woltmans Law caught third place.
