Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Golden Thought was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Agmund galloped for 60m and was disqualified.
Haspengouw quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
Charlotte sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Charlotte followed by Madame Anais and Light Grove. Lane two Haspengouw followed by Golden Thought and Prince Victory. Agmund galloped for 20 m.
Madame Anais was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. driver couldn't keep Combattant to trotting so they were disqualified. Charlotte looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
Haspengouw won the race after a spectacular finish.
