One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Sickan Superior tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Fenix Crusader that came steaming ahead.
Fenix Crusader was in fine shape and held the lead.
Bright Addiction sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.
Bright Addiction was still in the lead after 1500m.
Sickan Superior suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
Bright Addiction sprinted over the finishline before Dixie Lore and Sickan Superior.
