The weather had been good all week and Jägersro was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sashimi took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Cosenza sprinted to the front.




Sashimi sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Sashimi was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Sashimi gallopped for 10 m.



Nieuwenhuizen was first on the homestretch followed by Sashimi and Cosenza.






Cosenza won. Sashimi came in second. Nieuwenhuizen caught third place.
